My Favorite Green Smoothie Recipe

With St. Patrick's Day upon us tomorrow, I just have to share my favorite and super easy green smoothie recipe!  The great thing about smoothies is that you can use whatever you have on hand and you don't have to measure, you really can just dump in whatever and blend.

1/2 cup of greens (I use frozen organic kale)

3/4 cup of fruit (I use any combination of 2 that  I have:  green apple, frozen mango, blueberries, banana, kiwi, avocado)

2 tbsp of plain organic greek yogurt

2 tbsp of PB Fit   peanut butter powder  (This adds 6 g protein and is so easy to use!)

1 scoop of Whole Foods 365 Brand vanilla protein powder

Organic soy milk to blend- about 3/4 cup

I add all these items in this order to the bullet cup of my Ninja Blender.  Click HERE to see the one I have.  Blend until smooth- about 30 seconds.  This makes a great breakfast or lunch and the recipe is so flexible.  You can take away the peanut butter powder, change up any of the fruits and vegetables and use any type of milk you like.  I can guarantee that it will taste fantastic and it will NOT taste like kale...only yummy goodness!  Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
